WEEK 39
We read the text "Catching the Tube". Practice speaking by doing the exercise F in your workbook on page 17. Write a dialogue from "the tube" together with your friend and send it to Svatava.
WEEK 38
We continue talking about Simon and discussing the pocket money in our groups. Remember that we write the test on Friday week 40 - if you want to repeat the words go to the following page:GOOD STUFF B
On Friday you should hand in the Green Test and - if you want - the Yellow Test. You should also retell the Simon's story and discuss the pocket money with your group.
WEEK 37
We listen to the story about Simon and his lottery ticket. We retell the story in our groups: one word - one sentence! We discuss following questions about "Money":

disadvantages of getting pocket money every week and every month?

Do you think children ought to do
something special at home in order to get pocket money? What can you do at home
to help your parents?

What do you normally buy yourself and
what do your parents pay for? Clothes? Cinema tickets? Make-up? Handball cups?

We read dialogues in the textbook on page 8 and 9. Do the exercises in the workbook pn page 7-10. Practise reading the dialogue "Bargain Bike" for Svatava - do you understand all the words? Can you pronounce "CHEAP"?
